Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo was founded by the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and licenced by the Federal Republic of Nigeria in January 2005 to operate as a private university. It is located on Oyo-Ogbomoso Road on the site of old St. Andrew’s College, Oyo. Its vision is "to be a top-class institution in the pursuit of knowledge and scholarship through teaching, learning, research and exemplary service to humanity" and its mission "to produce graduates who are imbued with the fear of God and sense of service to humanity and ihö are endowed with a well rounded education to enable them operate successfully both as private entrepreneurs and topflight workers in the private and public sectors of the nation’s economy".

• A good honours degree In relevant field from a recognized University.
• In addition, candidates must be Ex-Servicemen not below the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police or its equivalent in the Armed Forces with not less than 12 years cognate experience with evidence.
• Higher degree from a reputable University will be an added advantage.
