National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) Invitation for Aptitude Test

Posted on Mon 18th Feb, 2013 - hotnigerianjobs.com --- (394 comments)

National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) - The Commission was established by the NIMC Act No. 23 of 2007, with responsibilities for implementing the National Identity Management System; managing the National Identity Database; issuing General Multi-purpose (smart) Cards (GMPCs); and providing Identity Verification Services in Nigeria.

National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) invites candidates who applied for the its Massive Nationwide Graduate & Experienced Recruitment 2012 to come for aptitude test. The positions were advertised in December, 2012.

Below is a sample text message sent by NIMC.

Sender: NIMC-JOBS

Dear Applicant,
Please print your exam slip for NIMC jobs from www.nimcjobs.com
Your ARN is: XXXXXXXXXXXX
Also come along with a valid ID to the exam center.

If you applied and haven't received any sms or email invitation,  please be patient, you could still be invited.
The Aptitude Test is starting on Saturday, 23rd February 2013 till March 2013. Copied from: www.hotnigerianjobs.com

The Aptitude Test are to be done in batches, about 158,000 candidates applied for the advertised positions, I don't really know how many were invited for the Test, but some people were even scheduled to take the Test on Sunday, 24th February.

Some shortlisted candidates have been complaining that the exam center given to them is different from the preferred center they chose during the application.

Wishing all of you goodluck.

Candidates who applied for the recruitment should:
Click here to print their Examination slip

For those who cant remember their Reference Number (ARN)

For those who couldn't remember when the advert was advertised should:

NB: Candidates Should come along with a valid ID Card to the exam center.

This recruitment exercise is part of the human resource restructuring by the NIMC and targeted towards the proposed formal launch of the scheme in 2013, as well as to achieve its mandate of providing a functional National Identity Management System for Nigeria. NIMC would, therefore, like to recruit the best available talents to fill several positions within the Commission.

Illorin candidates are in a state of chaos cos they now told them to go & come back morrow by 7am ie the 11am & above group scheduled to write. they only conduct for 8,9 & 10am.
am confused of what will happen tomorrow cos pple are as well schedule for that morrow this today group are pushed to,only they shouldn't gather pple from far & near & not allow them write exam cos it will be more harmful then boko haram bomb.
the test is GMAT and u write direct on the computer, funny enough some their system develops fault after logging in they end up not been able to write again cos nothing could be done about it.I cry for Nig cos i dont know when thing will be done perfectly. Its well

@ favour,
thanks for the update.
Considering the quality of internet provisions in the country, I'm not really surprised at what happened at Ilorin, HCP can't be blamed too, the problem is just the hardship that our fellow job seekers will undergo. I pray God sees all of us through.
Any Update from other test centres???

Those folks are all scams. This country is doomed, they were nt prepared 4 d test.In the Illorin cbt center.D first 3 batches hd netwk issues and cudnt submit, bt they fooled n told 2 go that d results were in d db, which a staff confided wz false. My advise, if u've nt travelled dnt bother, unless ur center is closeby.D questions were intentionally set cheap, so as to fool folks, they already ve their candidates.Am appalled at my country, its pitiful.Goodluck

Has anyone ever stopped to think for a moment this whole NIMC-JOBS is all Scam? Before you folks continue to jostle for nothingness, take a sec and ponder these facts:
The official NIMC web page is at http://nimc.gov.ng as against nimcjobs.com
2.The career opportunity web page for job seekers is a link to the official NIMC site at http://www.nimc.gov.ng/Pages/general/careers.htm
3.No government of a federal state such as Nigeria will engage a public domain name such as a .com to host a government agency website (NIMC) hence the domain .gov.ng in this regard.
4. The supposed moderators of NIMC-JObs instructed further enquirers should be directed to an email address provided by a free public email provider i.e gmail. A proper email address for such purposes for the most government sites is always a direct link to the original site such as [email protected] or [email protected]

@ AKINADE: Hmmn, ur points are very logical, but come to think of it: a lot of things dat happen in Naija are hardly eva logical. I think d nimcjobs.com is a creation of Human Capital Partners, d Consultants to ease pressure on d .gov.ng.

Plus, d only thing dey'll stand to gain as Consultants is a loss of reputation, credibility, integrity, clientelle, portfolios n d poor cash cow dey milk 4 silk. Truth is: NOT ALL DAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD. I'll probably scan U my appointment letter!
