We are seeking to recruit qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description
The key aspects of the role are:

• Leadership and accountability for the delivery of business operations across the office (front and back), including infrastructure, systems and processes
• Working as part of the senior leadership team to provide strategic direction to and delivery of the broader initiatives for the Firm, working in collaboration with partners to support the overall delivery of the key pillars of the firm strategy
• Effective leadership of the business management, project management, IT, facilities, knowledge management and change functions
• Key advisor to the managing partner and member of the management committee / executive committee
• Providing strategic input and thought leadership, bringing insights into operational best practice, supported by first class implementation
• Key role in influencing behavioural change across the office

Key Skills and Core Competencies

• Strong financial and systems expertise
• Experience of matrix management across multiple offices / countries
• Excellent leadership skills; an ability to motivate, coach, develop and inspire
• Highly collaborative, team player with ability to influence and challenge at the most senior level
• Has gravitas and is able to build trust and confidence with Partners to promote new ideas and able to communicate with and influence partners and challenge current thinking.
• Possess a high level of professionalism and confidence
• Able to demonstrate strategic vision and commercial / business acumen supported by first class implementation capability
• Executes for results with proven track record of delivery against best in class benchmarks and stretch goals
• A confident, calm and credible style; yet will be mentally tough and resilient and be prepared to challenge the status quo through logical argument and a determined approach
