NIMC Recruitment 2013: Over 150,000 Nigerians Participated

Posted on Mon 11th Mar, 2013 - hotnigerianjobs.com --- (138 comments)

National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) - Over 150,000 unemployed graduates are jostling for recruitment into the services of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

The commission, in an effort to boost its staff strength, recently conducted aptitude test in six locations spread across the country.

According to the Director, Corporate Communication, Mr Anthony Okwudiafor, over 150,000 unemployed Nigerians responded to the recruitment advertorials, which appeared in six national dailies and online at www.hotnigerianjobs.com

UPDATE: NIMC Test Results: Shortlistment for Interview 2013

He noted that the examination, which covered questions in current affairs, Mathematics and English, was essentially computer-based.

The purpose of this, according to the Director, Human Capital Management, Ms Winifred Ojeih, was to provide a level playing field for all qualified Nigerians. Copied from: www.hotnigerianjobs.com

She said all the applicants had equal opportunity of working in the commission once they excelled in the aptitude test and subsequent oral interview sessions scheduled for this month.

Meanwhile, the Director General and Chief Executive of NIMC, Mr Chris Onyemenam, has warned applicants not to offer money to anybody in order to secure employment.

Onyemenam, who said the NIMC jobs are not for said, added that if anyone was caught either receiving or giving money, such would be handed over to the law enforcement agencies for prosecution.

Its so funny how Nigeria graduates reason! First and foremost, this is a job site, not affiliated to NIMC. Makeup is for pple who ddnt write, if you have written the test, you need not worry, i'm sure you have all equally received a msg frm NIMC asking you to disregard the msg to come for a makeup if you have already sat for the test.

Hi guyz....there is no reason to panick if you have written the previous test and were invited again. That message was sent to us in error, cuz i just receive another message from NIMC telling me to ignore that message that it was System error. They have got every problem under control.
So if you hav writtent before, this one is not meant for you despite the invite you got. For those that missed the previous test cuz of distance to the centres, you guyz are lucky to choose your nearest location this time. Keep trying if you are having problem sending the message cuz i confirmed from an insider in the NIMC that it waz congestion on their system, the traffic was too heavy.
Wish you guyz all d best. Further detaits visit www.nimcjobs.com or Hola @ me on 08037999383 for areas of concentration.

Fellow Applicants! We need to reason on two sides of this text message sent to some people. I do not want us to disregard the text completely as there could be reasons leading to this effect. One of the reasons could be non submission of CBT exams properly. It could also be, that while trying to get one's work done very well, time was not on one's side and the resultant effect led to the computer going off on its own. The question is: was everyone sent such a text? No. I will advise those who received the text to make a choice of centre and proceed to write it. When you get to the centre and you are asked to go, then leave. To obey is better than sacrifice!

I really compliment d effort of d director of d commission 4 his kind gesture knowing fully well dat we have equal right in dis country. Inec employed 1500 pple recently but no one have an idea of d method used 4 d recruitment. I pray dat soon Nigeria will b good wit pple like Barr Chris. One thing i do not understand is d reason 4 makeup test, was it dat d candidates dat wrote d just concluded nimc test were not enough? Or a lot of candidates dat wrote d test failed? Pls, nimc should remember dat examination, is not a true test of knowledge n if some one failed an exam does not means dat d person is a failure and cannot do d job. I have seen first class student messing up in an organisation while d third class students performs very perfect. So such should b considered also considering d risk most candidates took in going to dia changed preferred exam locations. I wish nimc long live n all d candidates participated in d test best of luck. God will see us thru in Jesus name.

Home NIMC Website FAQs
Welcome
Welcome to the online job application portal of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC). The Commission was established by the NIMC Act No. 23 of 2007, with responsibilities for implementing the National Identity Management System; managing the National Identity Database; issuing General Multi-purpose (smart) Cards (GMPCs); and providing Identity Verification Services in Nigeria.
This recruitment exercise is part of the human resource restructuring by the NIMC and targeted towards the proposed formal launch of the scheme in 2013, as well as to achieve its mandate of providing a functional National Identity Management System for Nigeria. NIMC would, therefore, like to recruit the best available talents to fill several positions within the Commission.
