Job Title: Distribution/Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Location: Ogun
Job Type: Full time
Reporting to: Logistics Manager

Job Descriptions

The scope of this role is operationally focused on supervising the day-to-day warehousing, logistical operation and time efficiency in full service to our customers.
This role also entails working with the wider supply team, specifically Customer Services and Supply Planners.
The role will supervise multiple service providers in the warehousing and freight out buckets to ensure we are all working towards the same goals of KPI delivery and cost delivery within budget.
The role will also include project management of key activities to improve cost and service delivery and overall efficiencies.

Sound understanding of the market and identifies growth opportunities
Displays sound judgement in difficult circumstances
Drives continuous improvement at all organisation levels
Ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
Ability and confidence to challenge, question, influence and negotiate
Ability to co-ordinate 3pls and cross functional.

Expectations

Degree qualified preferably in Account, Business Administration, sciences, statistics or related area together with >5years experience in Warehouse management preferably in FMCG
Enthusiasm, motivation, tenacity and a commitment to timely delivery of results
Proven customer service skills
A willingness to challenge generally accepted norms and the conceptual flexibility to find better answers
An appreciation of the total business picture
Strong team working across functional teams
Self-confident
Accurate, thorough & disciplined
Well organised and able to meet agreed deadlines
Good communication and presentation skills.
