General Entry Qualifications for the Programmes
Candidates for admission into any Ph.D programmes must have obtained:

• A Masters (MSc) Degree in relevant field with a minimum grade not less than 60% (B) from a recognized institution of higher learning.

Candidates for admission into any MSc programme must have obtained:

• 5 credits at not more than two sittings in WASC, GCE, NECO or NABTEB including English Language.
• An undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum grade of Second-Class Lower Division.

Candidates for admission into any professional Masters programme must have obtained:

• 5 credits at not more than two sittings in WASC, GCE, NECO or NABTEB including English Language.
• An undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum grade of Second-Class Lower Division or a Postgraduate Diploma from a recognized institution of higher learning.

Candidates for admission into any postgraduate diploma programme of the University must have obtained:

• 5 credits at not more than two sittings in WASC, GCE, NECO or NABTEB including English Language.
• Candidates shall also possess the minimum entry requirements for admission into the first degree and postgraduate diploma programmes in their areas of interest for postgraduate studies.
• At least 3rd class degree in a related field
• A minimum of upper credit level pass at HND or its equivalent in relevant areas (for programmes in relevant Faculties qualifications such as AIB, ACCA, ACMA, ICAN, BEEC, CPA, etc. may also be considered for admission;
• Qualifications other than the above which are acceptable to the Board of the School of Postgraduate Studies and Senate of the University may also be considered for admission.
• Other admission criteria shall include previous academic performance and relevance of degree obtained to the programme.

Method of Application
Interested and qualified candidates should obtain their  Application Forms ONLINE on payment of a non-refundable fee of N10,000. 00 (Ten thousand naira) only, made payable to “The Federal University Dutsin-Ma Postgraduate Application Fees Account, at any bank within the country using the Remita platform.

Payment Procedure

• Log on to: www.remita.net and;
• Click on the ‘PAY A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AGENCY’ box which redirects you to a new page
• On the ‘Name of MDA’ box type FEDERAL UNIVERSITY DUTSINMA
• On the ‘Name of Service/Purpose’, click on the drop box and select ‘Postgraduate Application Form’ option.
• On the ‘Description’ box type ‘Postgraduate Application Form’
• On the ‘Amount to pay’ a non-refundable fee of ten thousand naira (N10,000.00) only will appear automatically
• Select the programme you are applying for.
• Provide your email, and GSM Number (Note: these should all be active)
• Proceed to generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and pay
• You can make payment either at a branch of any commercial bank in Nigeria or pay using acceptable cards on the remita platform
• Applicants should visit our application portal at: http://pgs.fudutsinma.edu.ng/apply with their RRR after payment and follow the instructions there to complete the online application form. (Note: your RRR, Active email account and GSM number are required to continue after payment.
