GTBank Debunks Recruitment of Graduate Trainees Being Circulated Online by Some Job Portals

Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) has debunked the ongoing job recruitment of graduate Trainees being circulated online by some career websites (excluding www.hotnigerianjobs.com) requesting young graduates to apply online.

This was confirmed in a mail after an inquiry was made by Hotnigerianjobs.com through the bank's online customer service platform.

See below response of the inquiry:

Our attention has been drawn to an ongoing job recruitment campaign purportedly involving employment in Guaranty Trust Bank Plc to unsuspecting Nigerian nationals. Please disregard and delete all such emails and any other communication circulating via social media, SMS, phone calls and various online portals. At this time, GTBank, its staff or its agents has not requested you to submit your credentials to any email address or upload your details via any web link.

We therefore dissociate ourselves from this false recruitment campaign and wish to notify the public that Vacancies will only be announced on the careers page at our corporate website: www.gtbank.com/

Hotnigerianjob.com will remain committed in verifying every job published on our platform and we urge you to report any suspicious recruitment from any company to us.

Friends the GTBank recruitment was real and the link was valid for just five days on GTBank real website and am sure that their I.C.T Department might have taken it away. Pals the website where i applied and successfully submitted my details online four days ago is http://www.gtbank.com/careers/career-opportunities/graduates/

@Abba Kyari... nobody said the recruitment is a scam, year in year out... the portal is always open for people to drop their CV... but when its time for its yearly recruitment they make adverts on paper so people are aware...So on this note most job portal circulated it that the recruitment is open again and their was traffic to the GTBank web page... it was right for Hotnigerianjobs.com to have contacted them and clarify if the yearly recruitment is open as no advert was made on the Newspaper like they would always do... so lets all be guided and stop raising false hopes

itself 'live solutions' runs recruitment all year round and collects money from desperate applicants.
