We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Financial Manager that will analyze our day-to-day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans
• The goal is to enable the company’s leaders make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives

Responsibilities

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations of the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Overseeing the flow of cash and other financial instruments
• Ensure timely & accurate invoicing and proper archiving of financial records
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts to the management for review and necessary action
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff
• Maintain the financial health of the organization
• Analyze costs, pricing, sales results and the company’s actual performance
• Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
• Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances

Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance or Management
• Excellent written and oral English skills
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar position
• Applicants must possess sufficient IT knowledge, with greater focus on Microsoft Office Word & Excel
• Professional qualification such as ICAN/ACCA will be considered a plus

Requirements:
The ideal candidates must:

• Be a fully qualified Accountant
• Have a proven experience as a Financial Manager
• Be familiar with Peachtree (and) proficient user of other finance software
• Have a solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Possess working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
• Have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Have a high degree of trustworthiness, discretion & confidentiality
• Have strong financial analysis, reporting and management skill
• Possess the ability to interpret financial reports for management decision
• Be willing to prevent, detect and investigate fraud
