Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC)- The attention of the Management of Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) has been drawn to the activities of fraudsters offering employment to unsuspecting members of the public purportedly on behalf of NAOC.

Notice of False Recruitment Campaign & Improper Use of the Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) name

The attention of the Management of Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) has been drawn to the activities of fraudsters offering employment to unsuspecting members of the public purportedly on behalf of NAOC.

The unauthorized persons and organizations are claiming that they work for, or are affiliated to NAOC; and are purportedly seeking to recruit various categories of staff, including security/police/detective officers, on NAOC's behalf.

The Management of NAOC wishes to dissociate itself and all its affiliate companies (including Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited and Agip Energy and Natural Resources (Nigeria) Limited) from the activities of these fraudsters.

Members of the public are requested to please note that notices issued by the fraudsters, in the form of letters, emails, social media messages or publications in whatever form, neither originated from NAOC nor associated in any way with the recruitment process of NAOC.

We also wish to notify the general public that NAOC and its affiliate companies do not request or demand any monetary or other forms of payment from prospective applicants as part of their recruitment process.

The general public is, therefore, hereby advised to beware of the activities of these fraudsters in their own interest. Any person who deals with the fraudsters does so at his/her own risk!

thanks NAOC.. this guys actually called me some weeks ago, they told me to forward recent passport, a copy of my CV, they later called me again same day telling me they have to send me my appointment letter to me through a courier company but i have to pay 300k for the job slot they are offering me, without no written or oral interview or even a telephone interview sef, I saw it from the start that this guys are fools, I just felt them to exhibit their stupidity..

@John - I advice you not to pay any money to those Fraudsters. Agip does not collect money to applicants for employment. I bet, any money you send to these people are gone. Cut every communication with them. Be wary of scammers.

@Dominic - You should be wary, if they tell you to bring any form of payment, you should run and know it is a scam. Never pay any money for anything because Agip is a multinational company and will never ask you to pay for anything before employment. Be wise!
