Must be an educational leader with vision and strong interpersonal skills to serve as the principal of this great school.
The applicant must be:
- A devote christian.

- Able to enhance the instructional skills of teachers, by recognizing, motivating and evaluating each individual while setting measurable and achievable goals.
- Flexible, participating and open in management style, demonstrating fairness, consistency and compassion.
- Able to write and speak articulately and lead by example.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications and the use database assessment.
- Able to accept criticism and examine all sides of an issue objectively.
- A no-nonsense disciplinarian who establishes clear expectations and consistently enforces rules.
- A role model who manifests integrity, self-confidence, a commitment to quality and excellence and always does what is best for children.
- A creative, innovative and decisive leader who employs a collaborative approach to problem solving, but who expects results and accepts responsibility.
- A veteran educator with a solid grasp of elementary and middle school curricula, current trends, best practices, techniques for improving students outcome, and a commitment to the success of all pupils.
- Strong leader with a commitment to educational excellence.
- A chief administration officer of the school. The principal is responsible for hiring, supervising and evaluating teachers and staff, developing and implementing educational progress in the school.
- Overseeing extracurricular activities and assuring that Board policies are fully carried out, as well as directing all support services of the school.
The Teacher who:
- Is a devote christian.
- Demonstrates a contagious enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
- Inspires pupils to take on new challenges and reach their full potential.
- Creates relevant, appropriate, innovative and challenging opportunities that help pupils learn (e.g. connects with programs in the community, integrates new technologies).
- Is a role model and an inspiration to the educational community.
- Connects learning to pupil interests and to their lives beyond the classroom.
- Creates a supportive learning environment (e.g. offers after-school support, provides appropriate accommodations)
- Uses different teaching methods to match pupil learning styles and needs.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of curriculum.
- Gathers, analyses and uses data to improve pupil achievement.
Qualifications and Skills
- M.Sc in Education.
- 10 years post NYSC experience both in classes and administration in a reputable school running both Nigerian and British Curricula.
- Open to both Nigerians and expatriates.
