Qualifications

• Applicants must possess SSCE/GCE (O/L) or its equivalent with at least five (5) credits in the relevant subjects including English and Mathematics with a good honours degree in Mass Communication or any good degree from a recognized University with Professional Qualification.
• A related professional qualification e.g. Public Relations from a recognized institution will bean advantage.
• Applicants must have a minimum of sixteen (16) years cognate euperience for a Masters Degree holder including considerable experience at the Editorial Managerial level in a print or electronics media, or nineteen (19) years post-qualification cognate experience for a First Degree holder.
• Applicants must be computer literate.
• Applicants should be of good health, sound judgment, pleasant disposition and unassailable integrity;
• Applicants should have been at the level of Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs in a University for a minimum of five(5) years;
• Applicants must not be older than sixty (60) years.

Tenure and Condition of Service

• Directorship of Non-Academic Units shall be for the period of four (4) years in the first instance and may be renewed for another four (4) years only.
