In Nigeria of today, if one is not a graduate of a private University or the likes, I don't see how 24 by Dec 2013 is achievable not with all d incessant ASUU strikes and NYSC batches we have. This only gives room for age reduction and I won't blame any one for it. Its what d society (employers) encourage.

@Nkiru Ogbuli....
You dey mind them?
With adverts like this,,its inevitably that you get to employ cheats, crooks who embarks on age falsification and presenting of fake documents.
To me, U-connect is just a huge joke. An individual whi is actually 24yrs of age wouldn't want to start a career in banking,of all places,considerring the frequent lay-off of staffs. There are other top-notch companies like KPMG, PWC, Ernst and Young, GSK, Nestle, Mckinsey and Company, Accenture etc. who would readily absorbs such individual with proven skills.
So, let them keep wasting their time and circulating the adverts on the internet.

Should there even be an age limit in the 1st place? Not all of us had the opportunity 2 begin studies at an early age. To me, a fresh graduate is a fresh graduate, irrespective of his/her age. The same people will put up an advert 4 a job requiring a 30yr old graduate, with not less than 3yrs post NYSC experience...no b d same tin, abeg?

I dont blame all this private firms, i only blame our Govt. that can not provide jobs for its citizenry. If there was to be plenty of jobs from the Govt., i dont think all this useless private firms will be putting all this crit. to the public.
