Fadac Resources - Our client is a leading manufacturing industry in the production of paints in Otta, Ogun state. They offer colouring solutions for all plastic industrial applications including Colour and filler master batch, Polymer Additives etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Assistant

Location: Ogun

Job Description

They are in need of an Account Assistant to assist the Head of Finance in the running of the operations in the account department.
Work with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
Prepare statutory accounts.
Calculate and check to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
Sort out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
Reconciling finance accounts.
Enter and code financial transactions appropriately
Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings
Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold
Make and track payments
Make bank deposits and keep up records
Track expenses as they relate to specific projects and jobs
Validate invoices against items or services received
Check all financial transactions for accuracy
Key data into company accounting system

Requirements

B.Sc. or HND in Accounting and Finance
2-5 years accounting experience in a factory setting
Proficient use of accounting software (ERP)
ICAN or ACCA is an additional advantage
Please note that the factory is located in Otta, Ogun state
