Hipothomes - A subsidiary of HBS Limited, located in the city of Lagos is a home hardware store known for its high quality products and reliable delivery system. Our specialty cover steel doors, sanitary ware, faucets and plumbing fitting - PPR pipes.

We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Kwara

Responsibilities

Maintaining established profit margins.
Pricing all works in line with current market conditions.
Improving where possible company profits.
Ensuring contracts are financially controlled, to budget and to the clients’ requirements.
Managing target costs.
Preparing monthly cost reconciliation for Division Manager.
Undertaking site visits in preparation of all tenders and take photographs.
Preparing tenders based on estimating procedures.
Up-to-date reports.
Responsible for all the commercial aspects of projects from appraisal and validation of subcontractor applications.
Cost Valuation Reporting.
Submission and Negotiations of Final Accounts.

Requirements

B.Sc/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline from a recognized tertiary Institution.
Substantial experience in managing and surveying in the construction industry.
A thorough knowledge of current forms of contract. Computer Literate. Excellent time management skills.
A proven track record (with stable employment with the same company/group for three years or more).
Excellent communication skills.
Enthusiastic and commercially inclined.
Ambitious and innovative long term team player.
No freelancers/job hoppers will be considered.
Professional qualifications and/or institute membership required is an added advantage
Ability to provide good references.
Clean, smart appearance.
Good driving skills
Residing along Lekki - Ajah Axis
