Job Title: Operation Manager - Wireline Logging

Location: Lagos
Job level: Middle/ Senior Management
Reporting relationships: Position reports to the Managing Director

Job Details

• We are presently looking for an Operations Manager to take on a fantastic opportunity with an Oilfield company located in Nigeria with its HQ in Lagos. Such candidate must have worked for in the Wireline Logging field.

Job Purpose

• Day to day management of the Company’s Wireline Logging Operations activities

Job dimensions

• Key leadership position in improving bottom line results of the company, and significantly expanding the Wireline Logging service offering.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operations activities within the set Company’s Core Values, safety leadership, and standard operating procedures
• Manage Operations organization up to front line employees
• Achieve Logging operations targets
• Supervise Field Service Managers in all locations, and ensure their performance is aligned with the Company’s Core Values and targets
• Liaise closely with clients, provide advisory & technical support
• Submit operations activities reports to management
• Analyze records of Logging department safety, financial, operations and KPI indicators
• Take corrective strategic actions to improve overall operations performance
• Optimize cost through proper Asset Management, inventory turnover, equipment and consumable orders
• Establish and evaluate company’s new recruits and trainee program
• Assist in developing the company’s strategy formulation and business plan
• Resolve conflicts and appraise employees performance

Mandatory experience:

• Wireline logging (production logging/ perforation/ pipe recovery)
• Operations Management
• 5 years min experience
• First degree in Engineering or a related field.
