Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State, Nigeria, was first established as Obafemi Awolowo University in March 1982 by the government of the old Ondo State, headed by the late Chief Adekunle Ajasin.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) plus a Doctorate Degree.
• He or she must have not less than nine (9) years of teaching and research experience in a University or an equivalent Institution.
• In addition, he or she must demonstrate ability to initiate and direct research projects as well as have substantial scholarly publications in recognized and reputable journals and other verifiable outlets.
• Proven evidence of ability to attract research grants is essential.
• Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme.
