Job Title: Content Writer and Web Manager

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Job Description

• We are in need of a competent website and social media savvy, with the ability to create original content on the blog and social media accounts and manage the backend of a complex website.
• In order to be successful in this position, you must have exceptional writing skills, be a creative thinker, have the ability to learn SEO skills and tactics, and leverage your writing skills to create unmatched SEO strategies.

Major Roles

• Developing informative articles with the use of the right keywords, for the purpose of Search Engine Optimization.
• Keeping up with relevant/latest news, on politics, entertainment news, lifestyle, travel news, business news, entrepreneur, fashion news, Celebrity news and more for up-to-date blog posts.
• Verifying news/blog post accuracy
• Proofreading and editing own work for accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
The applicants should possess the following required qualifications:

• Comprehensive understanding of Blogging platforms, SEO, Social Media, Editing & Graphics
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills in the English Language
• Good understanding of several social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube among others
• WordPress proficiency will be a great advantage.

Skills:

• Ability to develop original contents, create graphics, digitize pictures, and insert audio and video.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
• Timeliness - Completes work in a timely manner. Meets deadlines consistently. Provides appropriate and timely responses to both internal and external audiences.
• Understands and engages in a culture of service philosophy.
• Ability to see opportunity in difficult situations and get things done with little or no supervision.
• Ability to earn and keep others trusts.
