Job Summary/Details

• The Board of Directors of Danbo International Schools Kaduna are seeking to appoint a committed individual with the skills, enthusiasm and experience to lead the school in its next exciting phase of continued improvement.
• An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone new to take up the post of School Administrator for our schools.
• The position will allow the successful candidate to focus on developing the quality of teaching, learning and assessment to ensure everyone in our school community, children and staff, have their needs met to be the best that they can be.
• The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the day to day operational needs of the school but also there will opportunity to develop your strategic vision and skills, working in partnership with, and being fully supported, by the Directors, the various heads of school and other key members of staff.

Job Description/Responsibilities
We requires the services of a resourceful education professional to fill the post of Administrator who will supervise the Heads of Schools, he/she will also:

• Promote the vision, values and ethos of the school, which expect the highest possible standards of achievement, well-being and engagement in learning for every pupil
• Work effectively with the executive Director, School heads and members of the leadership team in all the schools to establish appropriate shared relationships, roles and responsibilities across the Schools
• Set high expectations and challenging targets for the schools, evaluate the performance and identify priorities for improvement
• Provide the leadership, management and accountability which enable the schools to create a culture and ethos of challenge and support for all
• Create a shared learning culture and positive climate through distribution of leadership through teams and individuals in the school and support the development of the same across the Schools
• Provide an excellent professional role model that inspires enthusiasm and commitment from all

Requirements

• We welcome applications from candidates who have the experience, skills, enthusiasm and commitment to become our School Administrator.
• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Education with a considerable and verifiable experience in a similar organisation.
• Educational Management, Curriculum Development, Educational Leadership Qualification or experience is also desirable
• Post will suit someone who has experience of headship of an International school with competencies developed in an international setting, and who is desirous of mentoring and coaching others to Educational best practices acceptable worldwide.
