University of Ilorin, is located in Ilorin, the capital city of Kwara State on latitude 8.4799° N and longitude 4.5418° E, covering an approximate land mass of 5,000 hectare. University of Ilorin is located at about 500km apart from Nigeria national capital (Abuja) and about 300km away from the Nation’s economic capital (Lagos).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Candidate must possess GCE/SSCE or its equivalent with a First Degree/HND plus at least sixteen (16) years post-qualification experience
• Candidate must be an Ex-Police Commissioner or its equivalent in the Armed or Para-Military Forces for three (3) years
• The candidate should have served for 25 years
• Candidates must also have evidence of NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate
• Applicants must be computer literate.

Salary and Other Conditions

• N4,058,262.00  (CONTISS 15)
• Appointment is normally on probation which may be confirmed after two years of satisfactory service. The post is pensionable.
