Qualifications and Requirements

• Interested applicants must posses a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (B.A/B.Sc) with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division and Master of Arts/Master of Science (MA/M.Sc.) and a Doctor of Philosophy PhD, with at least Ten (10) years of continuous Teaching and Research at the University level.
• Applicants must be able to show evidence of scholarship and track record of outstanding research with Scholarly Publications in peer-reviewed internationally rated journals/outlets.
• So also, these outstanding research and scholarly publications and or patent invention and design, should have appeared in print, and there must be an identifiable contribution to knowledge in the field of specialization.
• Preference will be given to qualified candidates whose qualifications must be registered with a Professional Body, where applicable.
• To be appointable, the ideal candidates will be expected to demonstrate evidence of Academic Leadership, research ability to supervise Post Graduate student supervision in the field, capacity to develop the field/discipline in the department, and skills for collaborative and multidisciplinary research.
