We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store Officer

Location: Abuja

Job Description

• To be in charge of store control and inventory management
• Ensure the integrity of the store area is maintained at all times
• To ensure arrangements for delivery or collection of materials at the agreed time
• To ensure delivery of materials to site or collection from suppliers is undertaken and monitored against performance criteria and where suppliers do not meet the correct standards be proactive in resolving the issues
• To ensure accurate accountability of all transactions to and from the stores
• To raise purchase orders for materials in line with procedures, standing orders and financial regulations
• To facilitate periodic checks of the quantities of materials held in stock
• Ensure the stores area is kept clean and tidy and free from hazards

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of a Diploma (HND/OND)
• 2 years’ work experience as a store officer
• Excellent communications skills
• Bookkeeping skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Decision making skills
• Computer skills including the ability to operate a cash register, computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word-processing programs at a highly proficient level
• Time management skills
• Store and facility management and administration Skills
