Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Delta

Job Description
The successful applicant will be expected to:

Ensure the improvement of the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth.
Determining the company’s long-term marketing strategic goals, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Find potential new customers and ensure existing clients are satisfied and positive.
Plan and conduct business meetings.
Develop proposals that speak to the clients’ needs, concerns, and objective.
Participate in pricing and contract negotiation process using a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conference, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, product and distribution channels.
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Prepare tenders, bids and follow up all NIPEX issue.

Requirements
Qualifications, skills and experience sought:

Bachelor's degree; master's may be preferred.
A minimum of 4 years with marketing experience.
Problem-solving, critical thinking, good communication, and strategic planning skills; strong motivation; business and finance understanding.
Knowledge of the maritime industry will be an added advantage
