Job Title: Advertising Director

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

He/She will be responsible for advertising strategy for the brand as well as for integrated communication strategies for various products, services and promotions that will be developed by the company on an ongoing basis, for retail as well as the B to C and B to B segments of the
It would also include providing inspiring and stimulating briefs to a panel of creative and production agencies/consultants, engaged by the company, with the purpose of generating path-breaking creative work that is also effective in supporting the company’s revenue and growth objectives.
He/She will lead and drive a cross functional team to liaison with senior members of the various strategic business units of the company to understand their business imperatives and initiate, develop, supervise and execute 360 degree, integrated communication solutions across the different geographies of the country Involvement in overseeing the development and execution of media strategies and media plans by Media agencies, both for traditional as well as digital media to ensure that brand as well as product and service campaigns receive effective media support, will also be a key requirement.

Qualifications

An MBA or Master's Degree in Mass Communications or a related field.
Professional certification and membership of professional bodies is a must.

Experience:

Minimum 20 years of progressive operational and managerial experience with at least 5 years at a senior managerial level in a reputed Advertising Agency/ Integrated Marketing Communication Agency or other verticals like ICT/Financial Institutions/Consumer Durables/FMCG in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of Advertising and working knowledge of other communication disciplines like, Promotions, Public Relations, Sponsorship, Direct Response communication as well as Media planning and buying.
Must have a demonstrable track record of delivering superior results, while responding to multiple priorities.
Must have a proven record of one’s ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide array of people within the organization as well as with external public.
