Job Description

• Area of Specialisation: Control Engineering – Classical Control, Digital Control, Embedded Systems, Neuro-Fuzzy Systems. Communication Engineering (Analog and Digital) – Communications Electromagnetic, Mobile Telephony, Computer Networks, EMC/EMI, Antennas and Radio wave Propagation.
• Electronics Engineering – Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, VLSI Optoelectronics. Power System Engineering – Electrical Machines, High Voltage Engineering, Power Electronics, Power System Control and Stability, Renewable Energy.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A candidate for this post should normally possess a good first degree and a doctorate degree in the respective field from a recognized University with at least four (4) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a University or comparable institution of higher learning. Candidate must also have the ability to teach courses at the undergraduate level with evidence of practical skills and competence.
• Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals is also required in addition to ability to supervise post-graduate students in areas of expertise.
• Candidate must have been a Lecturer II for a minimum of three years.

Salary Range
CONUASS 4 (N1,122,751.00 - N1,444,535.00) per annum.

Condition of Service
As contained in the approved conditions governing service of Senior Staff of the University.
