Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Profile

• The Project manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the Organization.
• The Project Manager manages key client projects and will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
• He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs

Responsibilities
As Project Manager your responsibilities will comprise:

• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members as necessary
• Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Performing risk management to minimize project risks
• Presenting to stakeholders, reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
• Managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
• Meeting with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Tracking project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Developing spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) you will be measured on include:

• Cycle time
• On-time completion percentage
• Number of project milestones completed on time with sign-off
• Budget variance
• Budget creation (or revision) cycle time
• Number of budget iterations
• Resource allocation & utilisation
• Customer satisfaction/loyalty

Requirements
You’d be a good fit if you have:

• A University Degree in a related field
• Proven work experience (at least 3 years) in project management in the Tech Industry
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask
• A technical background, with experience working in the Technology space
• Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification
