Job Title: Customers Development & Marketing Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Brief

• We are looking for a passionate Customers Development & Marketing Officer to plan and oversee the EsquaredLab outreach and expansion activities and campaigns.
• You will be the one to ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management.
• The ideal candidate is expected to be flexible, highly creative and innovative coming up with ideas for increased market penetration of our products and services.
• He/She will also be an excellent communicator and will show ownership for the tasks under their portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
These include (but are not limited to):

• Contribute in the implementation of marketing strategies
• Identify, establish and reach out to potential new customers and clients to raise awareness and subscription to the company’s products and services.
• Maintain and grow customer relationships with existing clients.
• Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
• Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence
• See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics
• Prepare content for the publication of EsquaredLab marketing material (including those of the company’s individual products) and oversee distribution
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
• Collaborate with the management team in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
• Any other duties relevant to the role as required by the management.

Job Requirements and Person Specifications

• University degree or Higher National Diploma
• Eagerness to learn and keen sense of humour.
• The candidate should be computer literate and have good working knowledge of MS Office tools
• An understanding of social media and web outreach platforms will be very valuable
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate must have an excellent command of the English language.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to connect easily with people.
• High Creativity and commercial awareness is expected
• Self-motivated and able to manage own time effectively
• Contributes enthusiastically to team-working
• Has a positive approach, consistently achieving good quality work on time and responds positively to feedback
• Some experience in marketing techniques and principles will be useful, but not essential.
• Fresh Graduates and current NYSC candidates are encouraged to apply

Hours of Work and Other Job Details:

• The Customer Development and Marketing Officer role is based on working 35 hours/week, on a highly flexible basis. With remote work possibilities.
• The candidate will mainly be based in Lagos, Nigeria but some occasional local nationwide travel might be expected in future.
• Rapid growth and promotion opportunities.
• Potential additional periodic bonuses following achievement of outreach targets

Salary
NGN30,000 monthly (plus bonuses).
