FOAK Express - A new logistics and delivery Company in Lagos is seeking competent and qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Experienced Dispatch Rider

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• The main responsibility of Dispatch Riders involves pick-up and delivery of items/products via a motorcycle embarking on short journeys within the Lagos metropolis and it's immediate environs and occasionally go outside Lagos.

Job Function

• Transport items quickly by motorcycle. These items may include letters, bulky documents, packages, etc.
• Sign for the package on collection and get an appropriate person to sign for it upon delivery.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for making deliveries, noting the expected delivery time/urgency.
• Keeping record of daily visits (pick up & drop off) in the daily data sheet.
• Update delivery log book at the end of each day by entering collection and delivery details.
• Responsible for keeping the motorcycle roadworthy at all time by performing routine maintenance on bikes, such as monitoring fluid levels and replenishing fuel.
• Carrying out any other duties as directed by the Company.

Requirements

• Must have Riders permit
• Good health and have good eyesight
• 1-3 years’ experience working as a dispatch rider.
• Minimum qualification of Senior Secondary School certificate/Ordinary National Diploma.
• Can read, write, follow guides, plan and learn routes
• Highly professional and able to work independently
• Ability to adhere to deadlines and work under pressure
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records
• Can read and follow maps and guides, plan and learn routes
• Be friendly and presentable.
• Trustworthy with finances and responsible for goods handled at every point in time.
• Candidates must reside in Lekki axis
