We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Intern

Location
: Lagos

Position Details
  • Full-time internship at our Lagos office
  • A relocation stipend will not be provided.
  • On-the-job training provided.
Job Description/Responsibilities

As an intern, you should expect:
  • Exposure; Being a household name gives employees the opportunity to work in startup-like environment and focus on deeply interesting work that you wouldn’t get to do anywhere else - prepare to make a large-scale impact in a short amount of time
  • Professional Development; Participate in a monthly “lunch and learns” with other consultants and business functions, skill building workshops, and networking sessions
  • Mentorship; Look forward to one-on-one time with dedicated managers and mentors to facilitate your growth throughout the summer internship experience.
You’ll spend time on the following:
  • Prospecting new partners and expanding our number of accounts, while developing and maintaining positive relationships with merchants
  • Gather and analyze appropriate prospects/client data in order to discover trends of successful merchant behavior
  • Provide support for prospects/clients via email and telephone
  • Effectively handle and resolve clients concerns and support issues
  • Communicate relevant clients complaints or inquiries
  • Conduct market research and perform competitor analyses to understand where Dominion Consulting Nigeria stands within the consulting trends/industry.
Requirements
We’re excited about you if you have:
  • Currently graduated in a B.Sc or MSc program, Preferred study in Business, Economics, Marketing, International Marketing or any other business-related field
  • You are able to effectively convey complex information to a broad audience
  • You’re able to work collaboratively in an environment that promotes constant team communication
  • You're a creative problem solver who can identify problems unilaterally and recommend effective plans of action
  • Strong organizational, planning, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; strategic and creative thinking with keen business judgment, focus, and ability to see the "big picture"
  • You can translate business objectives and problems into analytic problems, and analytic solutions into actionable business solutions
  • You are skilled in both Excel and Graphics
  • Previous experience in a similar marketing/sales role
  • Experience in Graphics is a plus
  • Smart, detail-oriented, and relentlessly resourceful
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
  • Team oriented but with the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and ability to work autonomously in a demanding and ambiguous environment
  • Excellent customer service ethic with ability to focus on the job at hand.
