DCSL Corporate Services Limited - Our client, a reputable Medical Laboratory Company is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Lagos

Job Description
The successful Candidate will be primarily responsible for the following:

Develop and execute the Company's annual internal audit plan;
Execute the Internal Audit function by identifying risks associated with business objectives and evaluating the controls in place to mitigate those risks;
Provide consultative support to all departments with regards to the adequate implementation of risk management processes;
Conduct audits of the financial, operational, systems and compliance areas of the business;
Review and evaluate the system of internal controls, while assessing adequacy, effectiveness and proposing recommendations for improvement;
Assist in establishing a follow up mechanism on agreed recommendations on financial, operational and regulatory deficiencies reported during past audits;
Conduct reconciliation of inventories;
Conduct periodic review and reconciliation of financial and operational records;
Carry out special audits as may be directed by the management;
Perform other duties assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting;
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in an internal audit role;
Demonstrable working knowledge and experience in an ERP environment;
ACA/ ACCA will be an added advantage;
Results oriented and ability to meet deadlines on assignments;
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office package;
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills;
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and written proficiency in English;
Excellent command of the relevant IT tools/ programs and professional standards;
Negotiation, team building and collaboration skills;
Excellent Presentation Skills
Experience in the private health service sector will be an advantage.
