We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Trainer/Facilitator

Location: Nasarawa
Reporting: Headstart Project Officer

Job Description

• We are in need of Business Trainers needed for The Headstart into Entrepreneurship Program Nasarawa State
• The Skills Outside School Foundation is an education, employability and enterprise not-for-profit that builds human capital in Nigeria at secondary, tertiary and post-tertiary levels
• The services include 21st century employability, enterprise and life skills training, career mentoring and development, education building services, scholarship opportunities and basic education provision, particularly targeted at disadvantaged youth.
• The Headstart into Entrepreneurship program is a business training, mentoring and support program for youths aged 18 t0 35 years old.

Trainers are needed for the following modules:

• Business idea generation
• Business Skills
• Branding, communication and marketing
• Human resource management
• Financial literacy and management
• Business law and cooperate governance
• Mode of engagement: once every week for 1 month

Main Goal of the Job

• Delivering the Headstart into Entrepreneurship training curriculum to youths between the ages of 18 – 35 years.

Trainers Responsibilities

• Administering the Headstart into entrepreneurship training curriculum
• Organizing of class activities such as role plays, simulation exercises, and group work, presentation
• Submission of performance reports after each training

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc/HND
• Previous experience as a business trainer/ facilitator
• Knowledge of traditional and modern educational techniques
• Excellent communication and organizing skills
• Have an Entrepreneurial mindset
• Familiar with different sectors of business
• Own or run a successful business
• Must reside in Nasawara State
