Job Title: Superintendent, Well Design

Objectives

• To ensure technical integrity of wells in accordance with international Oil and Gas codes and standards for optimal hydrocarbon production

Key Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Exploration team to ensure well engineering support requirements are adequately defined and resourced; and processes and guidelines are in place to facilitate successful hydrocarbon production
• Assist with the development of well design and engineering systems and processes; and ensure wells design meets the strategic objectives of the Corporation, as well as international best practice
• Ensure major risks associated with wells engineering projects are fully understood and effectively mitigated and managed through design conception; and participate in audits of applicable well engineering processes and procedures

Requirements

• First Class or Second Class Upper (First Degree) in relevant Engineering disciplines
• Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit (minimum) in relevant engineering disciplines, plus Master’s degree
• Certification/Membership of relevant professional body
• NYSC Completion/Exemption Certificate
• Applicants must not be more than 37 years of age as at 31st December, 2018.
• Applicants must have Minimum of 9 years relevant post qualification experience .
• Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.

Key Functional Competencies:

• Conceptual Completion Design
• End Of Well Report (EOWR) and After Action Review (AAR)
• Data Collation & QA/QC
