Job Title: Production Geologist

Objectives

• To ensure adequate monitoring of production geology services in Joint Ventures fields for effective operations

Key Job Responsibilities

• Prepare subsurface maps of major Hydrocarbon bearing Sands/Reservoir maps of development wells and carry out subsurface mapping of fields at concession boundaries requiring production utilization
• Partake in and utilize results of Joint Ventures production core descriptions and laboratory studies
• Undertake field visits of well locations to monitor pressure testing, wireline, mudlogging operations

Requirements

• First Class or Second Class Upper (First Degree) in relevant Geosciences disciplines
• Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit (minimum) in relevant Geosciences disciplines, plus Master’s degree
• Certification/Membership of relevant professional body
• NYSC Completion/Exemption Certificate
• Applicants must not be more than 34 years of age as at 31st December, 2018.
• Applicants must have Minimum of 6 years relevant post qualification experience .
• Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.

• Mud Logging/Wireline Logging/MWD/LWD/ DD
• Geological Evaluation
