Ralds and Agate - Our client, a reputable juice manufacturing company located in Ibadan Oyo State, is recruiting for the position of:

Job Title: Technical Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

To oversee the smooth running of the company’s production line and provide strategic planning and support to supervisors and production workers.

Responsibilities

Monitor equipment and production line performance to ensure that it is always in good working condition
Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
Develop and initiate systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective returns on assets
Lead and drive operational activities of the factory to ensure consistent levels of production excellence are achieved and sustained
Provide required resources and guidance that ensures fully engaged and talented workforce.
Develop short and long-term strategies and initiatives for the facility to meet customer, market and competitive demands
Establish and implement plant maintenance program based on best practices in the Beverage manufacturing industry
Administer necessary training for new techniques, products, equipment and systems introduced into the business.

Qualifications/ Required Experience

A Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) and background in Engineering (knowledge of maintenance engineering will be an advantage)
Years of proven work experience as a Technical Manager in a factory or manufacturing company (the juice or beverage industry will be an advantage)
Versatile and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and technological trends (knowledge on the use of Tetra Pak equipment will be an advantage).
Proven track record of handling a supervisory/managerial/leadership role in a manufacturing environment
