The Eye foundation hospital was started in 1993 as a high tech specialist Eye hospital capable of providing services comparable to those obtainable abroad. It is the first and foremost indigenous eye practice in the country that runs a group practice with many sub specialized ophthalmologists.
This role will implement sales and marketing strategy and drive activities to generate and improve revenue growth for the organization.
The role will generate, manage and sustain sales opportunities for the organization’s product and service offerings.
Responsibilities
Sales (55%):
Generate potential clients through all possible channels and ensure smooth on-boarding
Aggressively source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve sales targets
Increase income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services
Research and build understanding of competition and keep the organization well abreast of the market/competition in order to develop strategies to counter them and maintain a competitive edge
Maintain an understanding of the industry, including industry trends, industry performance indicators and key client competitors in their industry
Conduct sales calls, face to face meetings, email correspondence and continuous follow up with prospective customers
Generate revenue through conversion of prospective customers/projects who are planning to use competitors’ products and services
Coordinate with various units as necessary to ensure delivery of transactions, projects and other assignments
Coordinate with various units (e.g. Admin and Finance) to ensure proper documentation (term sheets invoices and reports) of transactions and sale activities
Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports of sales to line manager as needed.
Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, products and services and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts
Relationship Management (20%):
Continuously interact with existing and prospective clients so as to keep them abreast of the latest developments and offerings
Responsible for overall client satisfaction for services
Build and maintain client relationships through continuous follow up with clients; for their requirements and communicating the most appropriate solutions from our product and service range
Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and document customer interactions.
Marketing (15%)
Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and ensure that any directly relevant information is communicated to key stakeholders.
Execute events (public awareness campaigns, media and publicity campaigns, staff annual function and social responsibility projects) linked to achievement of sales.
Others (10%)
Represent the company and present its product offering to potential or existing customers during events such as conferences, seminars, client events etc.
Undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time.
Ensure data capture, metrics tracking and business intelligence.
Sales Representative top skills & proficiencies:
Proficiency in English and at least 1 other local language (Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa)

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Marketing or any related field preferably in the Social Sciences.
A postgraduate degree will be an added advantage
Minimum of 2 years' experience with at least 1 years' experience in sales, (B2B field sales) and other in customer service, marketing required.
Computer Savvy Skills:
Must be proficient in the use of MS Office suite {Word, Excel and PowerPoint}
