Role Summary

• All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing variable speed drives systems. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting activities at site locations to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions
• Perform installation and commissioning activities at customer site locations
• Be capable of working unsupervised and leading small teams
• Under the direction of a senior engineer performs a wide range of engineering tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of GE drive systems
• Develop presentations and provides training and instruction to customers on drive operations
• Provide continuous, 24 hour by 7 day a week, support in response to customer calls for service
• Ensure appropriate response and service is provided to customer

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services) or equivalent knowledge or experience
• In Nigeria: a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
• In Nigeria: must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
• In countries other than Nigeria: must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location.
