Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

Job Title: Manager, Business & Technical Support

Job Description

• Lead the review operational processes, policies, standards and procedures documentations.
• Responsible for the managing of Drilling and Completion activities related to pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage of contractual, and commercial issues up to award of Contract.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of the drilling risk assessment for field activities
• Responsible for the "on the job training", development and delivery of competency management programs
• Engage Legal, SCM and Drilling team and lead the formulation of fully scoped drilling and completions contracts and purchase orders that effectively deal with new challenges or technology, allocate risk, provide legally enforceable obligations and define the work product and KPI that contractors shall provide in support of the drilling and completions activity
• Perform managerial duties at the project level

Requirements

• A Degree qualification in Engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 15 years industry experience with an Operating Company.
• Highly experienced in contracts and project management, front-end well engineering design and staff competency development.
• Possess technical competency with hands on experience and full understanding of rig equipment functions, capabilities and limitations.
• International experience, preferably West Africa and/or Overseas.
• Good knowledge on stakeholder engagement to support cost recovery initiatives during JV meetings.
• Good organization and project management skills, ensuring efficient application of the company’s well delivery and commercial processes.

Primary Skills:

• Contracts and Project Management, Engineering Degree, Engineering Manager, Front end Well Engineering Design.
