Job Title: Hub Manager

Job Description

Your key responsibilities would include:

• Manage all operational activities for a package distribution centre
• Manage a large and diverse team of logistics and supply chain professionals supporting network infrastructure.
• Provide leadership to ensure efficient distribution and adherence to policies, procedures, and process excellence.
• Oversee all warehouse and transportation hub operations from inbound, inventory, pickups and outbound (deliveries/drop-offs).
• Maintains hub staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Establish key performance indicators tracking methodology and develop corresponding management reports.
• Partner with Third Party Logistics Providers to ensure alignment with expectations and achievement of our objectives.
• Optimize distribution channels for maximum efficiency and cost.

Desired Qualifications
You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain. Master's Degree in Business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or any other related discipline will be an added advantage.
• 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience in a logistics related role. Experience in a high volume distribution centre would be an added advantage.
• Project Management and supplier management experience.
• Experience in large scale operations and distribution management.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
• Experience in working with a third party Logistics Provider.
• Experience in materials management, i.e., transportation, purchasing, inventory management
• Experience in managing a third party Logistics Provider.
