Position Summary
Colleagues in the GFS Shared Services Center (SS) are responsible for the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Biopharmaceutical Finance and their business partners in the EMEA Markets. Colleagues in the center will perform certain Travel and Entertainment (T&E) activities from a facility in Prague, Czech Republic.
The GFS SS - Prague T&E activities include Issue resolution, Help desk, Regular reconciliation, Critical business payments, Balance sheet reconciliations for EMEA countries.
Also managing Pfizer’s business risk by evaluating, recommending and supporting I2P management by implementing robust process controls within the teams. Active participation in numerous finance-related projects can be part of the T&E position.
Position Responsibilities
The GFS SS - Prague T&E Analyst will be responsible for Conducting key accounts payable activities such as:
Manage the timely follow up and closure of outstanding items related to T&E
Period end close processing activities based on IFRS and US GAAP in the business general ledgers
Research, analyze and resolve T&E issues via e-mail or tickets with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure accounting transactions are in compliance with Pfizer accounting policies and US GAAP
Report directly to the Travel and Entertainment (T&E) Team Leader who is responsible for the T&E processes, operational performance and strategic guidance
Support achievements of key performance metrics within I2P processes

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting / Business Administration is required
1-2 years of experience in a AP required
Experience with financial shared services preferred
Technical Skills Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written
Ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals
Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative
Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
SAP / E1 system experience preferred
Working knowledge / experience of US GAAP and/or IFRS
Ability to analytically review and challenge statutory financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, adherence to accounting standards, etc.
Business English language skills (written and verbal), required
Additional language capabilities required according to the market responsibility
Ability to travel to required
