Job Title: Registrar

Details

In accordance with the Edith establishing the Nigeria Maritime University, Council wishes to commence the process for appointment of a substantive Registrar
Consequently, applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified persons with reputable cognate experience to apply for consideration for the positions

Duties

The Registrar is the chief administrative officer of the university and is responsible to the vice-chancellor for the day to day administration of the university, except as regards financial matters for which the bursar is responsible.

Qualification

The candidate must possess a good degree from a recognized university plus at least 15 (fifteen) years relevant post qualification experience, most of which preferably must be in university administration.
He/She must possess adequate leadership experience as well as high degee of competence, integrity and dependability.
Age: The candidate must not be more than 60 years of aged at the time of assumption of office.

Condition of services

The appointment shall be for a period of five years on such terms and condition as may be specified in the letter of appointment and may be renewed for one further period of one (1) year and no more.
The basic Salary attached to the post is CONUS 15, other allowances and fringe benefits are as applicable in the Nigeria University System and as may be determined form time to time by the university Governing Council
