Eventi Cocktails is a Lagos based cocktails design and consulting company. It is a subsidiary of Eventi Verdi Limited, which is a fast emerging and unique brand in the Lagos hospitality and events management scene.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Duration of internship programme: 6 months, starting from June to December.

Job Description

Eventi Cocktails is seeking two enthusiastic, responsible interns to join our growing organization. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

• Learn the craft of mixology from an internationally trained mixologist
• Learn bartending and the use of various bar tools and equipment
• Learn about classic cocktail recipes and how to create signature recipes
• Learn the ins-and-outs of the operations and procedures of a cocktail catering services company
• Learn how to run and manage a cocktail catering services company
• Plan and execute cocktail catering for various categories of events
• Know and connect with top beverage industry players
• Know and connect with event planners
• Get paid while learning to do what you love to do

Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer phone inquiries and provide basic company information
• Attend vendors’ meeting or other meetings with clients
• Send invoices and track payments
• Create a checklist for each upcoming event
• Manage clients’ orders
• Interface with suppliers for the purchase of items needed
• Make logistics arrangement for movement of equipment and materials to and from event venues
• Liaise with waiters and other staff needed for each event
• Process payments to staff and suppliers

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of ND in any course
• Proficient computer skills, able to use Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel), browse the internet, send and receive emails
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to bond well and work with a team
• Ability to lead a team
• Outgoing and very social
• Enthusiastic, teachable and very willing to learn
• Must not already own a cocktail catering business
• Living around the Island (Lekki, Ikoyi, VI areas) would be an added advantage
