The Rivers State University Port Harcourt was established in October, 1980 from the Rivers State College of Science and Technology which was itself established in 1972. It is located at Nkpolu-Oroworukwo in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, Nigeria.

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Qualification

• Pass in the final part of recognized Accounting body-ICAN, ANAN, plus 1 year National Youth Service Corps Certificate with evidence of Microsoft Certificate or its equivalent and computer proficiency.
• B.Sc honours in Accountancy from a recognized University plus 1 year National Youth Service Corps Certificate with evidence of Microsoft Certification or its equivalent and computer proficiency.

Conditions of Service
Successful candidates will be required to assume duty as soon as possible and will be on probation for the first two (2) years. Other conditions are similar to those obtaining in other institutions of higher learning in Nigeria.
