We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Brand Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

To support the Category Manager, Dairy and Beverages in executing annual activity plans for selected Dairy brands which deliver annual brand performance goals (awareness, equity, volume, market share, etc.) amongst its target audiences, on budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities/Activities
Brand plans:

Develop brand plan in conjunction with Category Manager – Dairy & Beverages for assigned brand(s)
Ensure the proper and effective field execution of approved marketing activities for the assigned brand(s)
Evaluate performance against activity objectives as directed by the Category Manager – Dairy & Beverages.
Work closely with the Trade Marketing and Sales within the Commercial function on the development, implementation and evaluation of trade promotions for assigned brand(s).

Marketing insight:

Provide regular reports on brand performance and health through: Collating consumer research; carrying out regular trade visits to gather market information; and tracking competitor activities in the category. Assist the Category Manager – Dairy & Beverages in developing response strategies to protect the position of assigned brand(s).

Budget:

Monitor expenditure against agreed activities and provide regular reports to the Category Manager – Dairy & Beverages.

Results:

Timely execution of marketing activities for assigned brand(s); production of activity evaluations to capture learnings.
