We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supervisor - Quality Assurance (Onga Cube)

Location: Head Office, Lagos
Reporting to: Head - General Factory Operations

Objectives

• To ensure that all raw materials and finished products are microbiologically analysed.
• To ensure that all products meet the microbiological set standard/specifications.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that all raw materials, online products and finished goods conform microbiologically to regulatory standards and company specifications.
• Ensure preparation of all media for analysis.
• Carry out sterilization of glass wares & media.
• Carry out sampling, sample preparation, inoculation of samples into media.
• Reading of plates, prompt and accurate recording of results into appropriate log books and file.
• Accurate documentation of analysis result and benchmarking.
• Carry out decontamination of cultured plates, wash-up of glass wares and proper storage.
• Scheduled cleaning of the equipment of the micro lab
• Maintain good housekeeping with strict adherence to good laboratory practices.
• Carries out any assigned food safety jobs by the head of department
• Assess microbiological air quality in manufacturing areas, monitor trends of microbiological results an implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions
• Perform microbiological analyses of water, raw materials, intermediate and finished products.
• Environmental Monitoring of all factories, laboratories and food handlers swab test analysis
• Monthly CIP/COP Swab test analysis of all machines
• Carries out any assigned food safety jobs by the head of department
• Any other jobs assigned by superior

Job Requirements
Education:

• B.Sc/HND in Microbiology.

Experience:

• At least 3 years working experience in the Microbiology laboratory of a food and beverage manufacturing company.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of food, water & environmental microbiology 

Skills & Personal Attributes:

• Analytic  personality.
• Tolerance for routine
