Job Description

• Nextier seeks to engage the services of an Information Technology (IT) and Digital Marketing Analyst. The Analyst will provide technology solutions and support across the various business units within the firm.
• The services will include deployment of appropriate software and tools to enable business processes to achieve business or organizational target. The services will range from deployment of efficiency tools, web technologies, collaboration tools, etc.

Responsibilities
The Information Technology (IT) and Digital Marketing Analyst will:

• Provide IT support, training and orientation in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to the attainment of Nextier technology goals
• Confirm project requirements by reviewing programme objective, input data, and output requirements with firm or business unit lead
• Source and update daily sector news, scholarships and job opportunities on the portal
• Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic
• Develop analytic dashboards, activity trackers and visualizers to aid performance evaluation of the various business units and the firm
• Manage information technology and computer systems and ensure data recovery
• Post and promote organisation’s activities on all social media platforms, while synchronously growing the brand on the platforms using relevant tools and continuous customer engagement
• Preserve assets, network access, information security, backup systems and control structures for Nextier Advisory
• Develop new strategies and IT procedure to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction on the Nextier platforms
• Design, code and modify websites from layout to functionality according to firm specifications. Create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly designs and ensure use of logical navigation
• Maintain IT equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, install new hardware and software, and perform other related tasks
• Manage information technology and computer systems and ensure data recovery
• Ensure Nextier has knowledge of cutting edge technologies to keep it at the forefront of adopting to improve efficiency and achievement of firm goals
• Provide support in any other capacity required.

Requirements
The ideal candidate must have the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computing related qualifications
• Experience in website developing, algorithm design and design and development
• Adeptness with social media and digital marketing tools including Google AdSense, Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSP/PHP, UML modelling, Word press and have solid knowledge and experience in programming
• Sound knowledge of programming language and technical terminology
• Proficient in Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
• Dedicated team player
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Solid ability in both written and verbal communication
• Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
• Able to solve complex problems
