Sweetkiwi is the premier one stop shop for delicious premium healthy frozen yogurt. We introduced a frozen yogurt concept that gives customers complete creative control of their dessert.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Manager

Location: Nigeria

Position Overview

Manages the overall operations of the business, its financials, exercising discretion while doing so.
Ensures company standards are met and all associates comply with all corporate store policies and procedures.
Upholds and executes the vision, mission, policies of Sweet Kiwi and assists others in doing the same.
Ensures customer experience is satisfactory at all times.
Is responsible for the promoting the professional growth and development of the entire team.

Essential Job Functions

Management and scheduling of staff effectively and efficiently.
Controls store operational costs (Food, Labour, Maintenance etc.)
Manages inventory managers and staff to ensure proper monitoring of inventory.
Coordinates training, continuous coaching and development of newly hired staff and all staff.
Ensures all Associates adhere to company standard, policies and procedures.
Ensure product served to customers meet Sweet Kiwi standard.
Provides counseling, coaching, discipline and mentoring to associates as warranted.
Conducts weekly management meetings and monthly village meetings.
Ensures all stores are in compliance of all Local, State and Federal regulations
Is the “role-model” for outstanding customer service and overall Associate standards.
Ensures cleanliness, health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Spends time in each store to ensure compliance, evaluate staff members, meet with customers, understand service gaps and resolve deficiencies.
Ensure company standards are met and associates comply with policies and procedures.
Overall management of all stores, supervision of all subordinate staff and policy implementation.
Employee staffing, Training and development.
Setting goals and ensuring all stores and teams meet their goals.
Upholds and executes the vision and mission of Sweet Kiwi and assist others in doing the same.
Demonstrate Leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
Manages financial acumen for all areas including financial reporting with sales reports P&L reports, writing and adhering to annual budgets, cash handling, waste and monthly management reports.
Monitors monthly balance sheets, budgets, nominal roll, payroll, vendor payments and complete operational accounting in collaboration with accountant.
Analyzes and creates trend for financial data.
Is knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food.
Plans menu in consultation with Chef.
Other job-related activities as requested by Managing Director.

Knowledge on how to launch a concept

Experience with QSR type concepts is essential

Ability to create budgets, flash reports, financial targets and forecasts
Knowledge of cash handling procedures and reconciliation of multiple cash banks and reports
Strong catering experience required
