Pivotage Consulting - Our client, a specialist IT and Telecommunications solution integrator is looking to fill the role of:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Ref: TVD/138/PO
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Type: Full Time
Reports to: MD.

Summary/Objective

An operations manager will work as a key part of a management team and oversee high-level HR duties, such as attracting talent and setting training standards and hiring procedures
S/he will also analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Work with senior stakeholders
Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
Make important policy, planning and strategy decisions.
Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning and auditing.
Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
Support worker communication with the management team.

Job Competencies

Must possess good rapport, time management, expert negotiation, strong analytical, organizational skill and project management skill
Must be a good team player with Interpersonal skills
Must be confident, have a dynamic personality and awareness of internal and external customer needs
Must have strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
Must have the ability to drive and coordinate a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

Candidates must have a B.A/HND in Operations Management or related field.
Candidate must have experience in management, operations and leadership.
Candidate must understand general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
Candidate must have the ability to build consensus and relationship among managers, partners and employees.
Candidate must have solid understanding of financial management.
