• This Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for media monitoring of major trends and planning and execution of PR programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and executing results-oriented PR programs with technology, consumer, broadcast and general business press; messaging and competitive analysis; and managing crisis communication issues.
• Create PR plans and strategies
• Improve the quality of company’s voice via different online and offline channels
• Serve as a first contact person for all media queries
• Write press releases, media announcements, speeches and other PR copy
• Prepare presentations for media briefings and other meetings
• Organize and oversee company events such as fairs, open day, seminars, conferences etc.
• Provide effective crisis management solutions in the times of need
• Suggest effective ways of peaceful resolving any internal or external disputes
• Conduct research and analyze public opinion
• Build and maintain targeted media lists, and nurture relationships with key reporters
• Monitor and analyze effectiveness of PR campaigns and communicate insights to management
• Collaborate with external stakeholders including public affairs offices, consumer organizations, and professional societies

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree is required.

Key Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will be ambitious with a real passion for technology and innovation.
• Possess a positive team-player attitude and is passionate about news and media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and detailed project management skills are required.
• Applicable knowledge in copywriting and editing
• Passion for public speaking
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a fast-pace and dynamic environment.
• 2-5 years’ experience in public relations, agency or corporate.
