Job Title: Marketing and Communications Specialist
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Summary
Responsible for defining, developing and implementing winning marketing communications strategies, aimed at increasing sales, maintaining brand loyalty and improving market share, whilst also monitoring brand performance and the competitive market environment.
Duties and responsibilities
Strategic Insight:
Develop a marketing plan for e.Stream Networks to include various marketing and AD campaigns and initiatives to align company goals and objectives.
Contribute to the company’s product development and marketing strategy through the collection and analysis of market research data to identify target markets for future potential growth.
Plan and implement marketing campaigns with sales team to improve lead generation from different target markets.
Plan and implement promotional campaigns within the agreed budget
Implement new ideas and methods that will continue to contributing to organizational goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.
Prepare and develop communication for marketing collaterals to include brochures, external newsletters, flyers for all products and services.
Analyze potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing
Technical Responsibilities:
Oversee market data analysis and evaluation.
Researching, data gathering and targeting initiatives
Define customer segmentation and target groups
Define ROI for all campaigns implemented
Ensure brand meets expectations through monitoring market trends.
Supervise and deploy unique brand Ads or product Ads across relevant media.
Collating and analyzing media coverage
Assist in preparing PR strategies
Assist in identifying strategic events that could assist sales teams in lead generation
Leadership:
Promote discretional behaviours among employees
At all times comply with Company and department’s policies, processes and procedures
Support in driving a vision for the department in line with corporate goals and objectives
Lead and motivate team members – encouraging them to deliver quality results
Escalate brand impacting issues not within control to CMO/CEO.
Competency Requirements
Education & Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, English Language Marketing, Advertising and Business Management/Administration or related field
Minimum of 5 years work experience in public relations, advertising, community relations, communications, writing publications, marketing, or related experience.
Affiliation with relevant professional bodies
