A Construction company based in Lagos State is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

HSE officer is responsible for monitoring health and safety, assess risk, and design strategies to reduce potential hazards within the workplace.

Responsibilities

HSE Officer is responsible for monitoring incidents of injury, illness, and other situations within workplace area
Create reports detailing health and safety within their with workplace
Design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect safety
HSE officer will be saddled with responsibility of going into the field to investigate environmental accidents and other public safety concerns within our business
He(S) may also assign team members to investigate reported incidents.
Design training programs to provide safety awareness education.
Give presentations about current safety hazards based on market research to educate others about avoiding health, safety, and environmental hazards.
HSE Officer will be responsible for performing Risk Assessments.

Qualifications

B.Sc Degree in related fields
5 years experience in similar role, preferable candidate should have experience in construction.
Relevant HSE Training and should be trained in the recent ISHO Integrated Management System.
