We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

Quality assurance technicians develop quality plans and procedures, examine products and materials, and verify that company and customer compliance standards are being met.

Responsibilities

The QA/QC personnel will lead the quality assurance effort to estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved
Compile quality control reports, create statistical process control metrics, manage nonconformity material discrepancy reports, and recommend continuous improvement activities.
Keep management abreast of significant developments identified during quality control activities.
Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
Review and publish test cases on requirements gathering sessions.
Conduct post-release verification following a Production deployment.
Record, assess and approve
Tracking system issues, suggested ownership, priority and issues,
Manage QA environment on build and release management.
Offer accurate status on defect information and metrics.
Set up and manage communication between development teams.
Motivate and mentor direct reports by effort and example.

Requirements

Proven work experience in software development
Proven work experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience with performance and/or security testing.
Minimum Qualification: Degree
Experience Level: Mid level
Experience Length: 2 years
